Guy Morrell, president and CEO of Bridge-Logos Publishers, died at home May 11, company officials said. He was 61.

Morrell had been involved with the charismatic publishing company since 1991. Based in Orlando, Fla., Bridge-Logos is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

In an open letter to readers in 1996, Morrell said the company was publishing books that “have stood the test of time … (and) books that will change your life.”

The funeral for Morrell will be held May 19 at Osceola Memorial Gardens in St. Cloud, Fla.
