Super Bowl-winning coach Tony Dungy, author of the just-released memoir Quiet Strength (Tyndale House Publishers), recently received an ESPY Award for "Best Coach/Manager."

The first African-American coach to win a Super Bowl when he led the Indianapolis Colts to win the NFL championship in February, Dungy was honored during ESPN's 15th annual ESPY Awards in Hollywood, July 11.

Dungy, whose book was launched last week and who spoke during the International Christian Retail Show in Atlanta, won the ESPY award through online voting, while the Colts received the "Best Team" award, the Associated Press reported.
