Sky Angel, the nation's only Christian satellite TV service, has announced the addition of the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) to its lineup beginning Aug. 1.

"Our values in faith and family are a perfect fit with the Sky Angel programming," said Gospel Music Channel Founder and President Charles Humbard. "We're looking forward to our partnership and the ability to bring inspirational Christian/gospel music...to new and existing viewers throughout the country."

Sky Angel currently has more than 30 TV and radio channels. Launched from Atlanta in 2004, GMC is the nation's first and only 24-hour TV channel devoted to all styles of Christian music.
