Standard Publishing parent acquires two companies |

CFM Religion Publishing Group (CFM), the parent company of Standard Publishing, has announced the acquisitions of RCL-Resources for Christian Living from RCL Enterprises and the Benziger product line from McGraw-Hill Education. The two groups will be combined to form RCL/Benziger Publishing, which will be focused on the Catholic market and based in Allen, Texas. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. "RCL's innovative, high-quality products and services coupled with Benziger's long-standing tradition will enable RCL/Benziger to offer superior multimedia product offerings that will empower catechists to nurture the faith development of Catholics of all ages," said Matthew Thibeau, president and CEO of CFM. Maryann Nead, who has lead RCL for 11 years, will be president of RCL/Benziger Publishing. Founded more than 40 years ago, RCL-Resources for Christian Living has a reputation as a publisher of high-quality, innovative products for religious education and faith formation serving the Catholic parish and school market. The Benziger imprint, founded in 1792, offers innovative and comprehensive materials for Catholic faith formation. |
