DaySpring has announced the hiring of Fred Ichniowski to serve as vice president and general manager of its Christian retail division. Ichniowski's duties will include leading and implementing all strategic programs for the Christian retail channel of distribution, and overseeing the effort to bring ideas and products to DaySpring's retail customers.

Ichniowski has more than 25 years of senior level leadership experience in operations, working with Family Christian Stores, KB Toys, Barnes & Noble and Egghead Software.

"We are very excited to have Fred join our senior leadership team," said DaySpring President James Barnett. "He adds a wealth of experience and will help our Christian retail group thrive as we continue to serve our customers."
