Floods causing property damage and loss of life in the Midwest have affected the Christian Book & Gift Store in Findlay, Ohio.

The store has had 6-7 inches of water inside, co-owner Mary Kane told Christian Retailing. The merchandise on the store's bottom shelves and sitting on the floor in the backroom was lost.

“It's devastating. It's overwhelming what we have to do, but for others in the community, the suffering is way worse,” said Kane, who added that she and husband Robert, who co-owns the store, are “praising the Lord for being with us during this time and for our friends.”
