Insight Retail Group (IRG), renamed from Lemstone LLC in June, has announced plans to open two new affiliate stores and several existing retailers have signed on as affiliates.

IRG President Scott Macdonald said the affiliate stores will be located in Jacksonville, Fla., and Scottsdale, Ariz., and will both open by mid-November.

In addition, Wayside Christian Stores bought the Rocklin, Calif., Lemstone location and has locations in Grass Valley and Auburn, Calif., which will be IRG affiliates, Macdonald added. The three locations will be called Wayside Christian Stores.

"The independent side of this industry will continue to consolidate to gain the buying and support leverage needed in today's competitive environment, and to get out on front of retail and product trends," Macdonald said. "Insight is well positioned to provide this to our Lemstone franchisees, affiliates and church bookstores."

IRG includes Lemstone Christian Stores, a franchise opportunity; Insight Retail Associates, a non-franchise support service; and Church Bookstore Solutions, which assists retail operations located in churches.
