Grizzly Adams Productions (GAP) recently started production on Friends for Life, the first of 20 family-friendly films the company is planning to release in the next five years, company officials said.

The movie, an outdoor adventure featuring wolf pups as the central characters, is being co-produced with Utah-based Flynn-Daines Productions and based on a story by GAP creator Charles Sellier.

The 19 wolves and a grizzly bear that are to be featured in the film have been trained by famous trainers Doug and Lynne Seus (Dr. Dolittle 2, The Bear and Evan Almighty).

"The wolves and grizzly bear being used in this film are highly trained-not only capable of behaviors and commands, but also characterization, which will indeed make them the stars of this feature film," Doug Seus said.
