The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) has announced the producers for its Christian Book Expo (CBE), debuting in Dallas, March 20-22 next year. One Smooth Stone will produce the 2009 Christian Book Awards program, which will kick off CBE March 19. Indelible Creative Group will produce the consumer-focused event's evening gatherings March 20 and 21 as well as manage audio/video resources for workshops and other CBE events. ECPA President Mark Kuyper said the evening events will be open to the public and will feature multimedia elements as well as multiple authors and music artists. The programs will not be standard keynote speaker events, he added. "Both of these companies have a reputation for executing flawless, creative multimedia events," Kuyper said. "The event producers are exploring very interesting and innovative ways to present book content. The goal is to provide an extraordinary experience with inspiring book content." One Smooth Stone, www.onesmoothstone.com, has produced events for Pepsi, Motorola and Sun Microsystems. Indelible Creative Group, www.indelibleonline.com, has produced 3:16 live events with Max Lucado, "Everybody Worship" gatherings for LifeWay Christian Resources and Miss PattyCake concerts.
