Family Christian Stores (FCS) is giving shoppers an incentive to support its James Fund foundation caring for orphans.

Customers who pay $10 for an FCS Barnabas Bear to be donated to a needy child are being given a free copy of Identity, the latest release from Christian teen singer Robert Pierre.

Established in 2003, the James Fund got a boost in the summer when singer-songwriter Mark Schultz raised $250,000 for the charity in a seven-week bicycle ride across America.

In July, the chain's 300-plus stores participated in a Day of Sharing to benefit local orphan and foster care programs.
