Baker Publishing Group has announced several recent promotions in its editorial, marketing and sales departments. Jennifer Leep, an acquisitions editor with Revell for the last eight years, has assumed the position of editorial director for the Baker division. Leep—who began working for Baker in 1996—replaces Lonnie Hull DuPont, who took over as executive editor for Revell. Vicki Crumpton, who started working for Baker in 2001 as senior acquisitions editor, has also been promoted to executive editor of Revell. Jim Kinney has been promoted to associate publisher of Baker Academic, while also continuing as its editorial director. A veteran of the publishing industry for 20 years, Kinney began working for Baker in 1996 and has served as editorial director since 1999. Additionally, Robert Hosack has been promoted to executive editor of Baker Academic and Baker Books. Hosack, who joined Baker staff in 1997, has served as senior acquisitions editor of Baker Academic and Baker Books since 2001. Meanwhile, Rod Jantzen has been promoted to director of special sales. Jeremy Wells has been promoted from assistant marketing manager to marketing manager of Academic Books, Baker Academic and Brazos Press. Rob Teigen was also recently named the sales department's national account manager of special markets. Teigen spent the last nine years with Harvest House Publishers. |
