Zondervan was honored with 20 awards for various products and services from CBA and the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA), which held its 27th annual Gold Medallion Awards banquet June 26 in Atlanta.

The two most notable awards included CBA Supplier of the Year and the ECPA Book of the Year for Rick Warren's bestseller, The Purpose-Driven Life. This marks the second consecutive year that Zondervan has won these two top awards.

Zondervan's four 2004 ECPA Gold Medallion Awards represented the most for any publisher, bringing Zondervan's total to an industry-leading 80. Zondervan has also won five of the last eight ECPA Charles "Kip" Jordan Christian Book of the Year awards, including this year's repeat winner, The Purpose-Driven Life.

Zondervan also took home six Retailers Choice Awards from Christian Retailing, four CBA Impact awards in addition to its Supplier of the Year award, one Lemstone Bookstore award, one Logos Bookstore awards and two Outreach magazine awards.
