Time Warner Book Group recently announced the launch of Center Street, a new imprint focusing on books for America's heartland with emphasis on self-help, motivation, health and fitness, fiction and regional interest. Center Street will debut in January 2005 with its first title, Falling in Love for All the Right Reasons by Neil Clark Warren, founder of the online matching service eHarmony.com. Other authors include best-selling CBA novelist Karen Kingsbury and Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Rolf Zettersten, publisher of Nashville, Tenn.-based Warner Faith, the inspirational imprint of Time Warner Book Group, also will serve as publisher for Center Street. "A significant number of readers in the heartland share similar core traditional values and interests as our Warner Faith customers," Zettersten said. "Focusing on titles that are geared towards Middle America is a logical next step to capitalize on an underserved market with this new imprint. We are confident the market is ready for Center Street." Look for the full story in the Oct. 4 edition of Christian Retailing.
