Provident Distribution has acquired exclusive rights to distribute Octone Records product to the CBA retail market.

"We are pleased to enter into a distribution relationship with Octone Records," said Don Noes, senior vice president of Provident Distribution. "With the out-of-the-box success of Maroon 5 in the mainstream market, we are excited by Octone's potential to make a major impact on the Christian music industry."

The first release under this new deal is the self-titled EP from Christian hard rock band Flyleaf, which arrived this week. A full album follows in the spring. Flyleaf also will be featured on Provident's Winter of Rock promotion, which hits retail stores on Jan. 18 and runs until Feb. 28.
