Leigh Nash recently announced through her blog that she will be reuniting with former bandmate Matt Slocum to record a new Sixpence None the Richer album. They also will embark on a tour beginning in April and running through the summer, with a confirmed spot at the Cornerstone 2008 music festival. "We realized we were on the same page and decided to make Sixpence None the Richer records for the next 2,000 to 3,000 years," Nash wrote. "I am so thankful and excited for the future." One of Christian music's most successful crossover bands, Sixpence was known for chart-topping singles like "Kiss Me," "There She Goes" and "Don't Dream it's Over" before calling it quits in 2004. Nash released a solo album, Blue on Blue (One Son Records/Nettwerk Records), in 2006. Release date and distribution information for the new album has not yet been announced. |
