Country music legend and Christian artist Randy Travis was inducted in Hollywood's Walk of Fame Sept. 29. While accepting the honor, Travis thanked his wife, Elizabeth, his band and his fans for making all his success possible.

For 18 years, Travis has been a dominant force in country music. The first country artist to break the multi-platinum sales barrier, he has sold more than 21 million albums and received four Grammys, five Country Music Association Awards, eight Academy of Country Music Awards, and 10 American Music Awards. He also has five Dove Awards, the Gospel Music Association's highest honor.

Word Records will release Passing Through, a new country CD by Travis, on Nov. 9
