"Boz," a big green bear who explores and learn about God's creation, will be introduced to toddlers and preschoolers via Christian retail stores in the spring through videos and books. Boz is the creation of Dennis DeShazer and Jon Green, founders of Exclaim Entertainment, a family entertainment program based on Christian principles. The founders introduced Boz this week at the International Christian Retail Show. Boz and his neighborhood friends will debut through two DVDs, which will be about 40 minutes long with three 11- to 13-minute stories. One of the videos will teach children about colors, shapes and numbers while the other will tell them about helping, caring and sharing. In conjunction with the videos, two Boz books will be released from ZonderKidz-God Loves Your Nose and God Gives You Friends. Two more videos will be released in fall 2006. Audio versions also are in the works. "Boz will entertain, educate and-most importantly-inspire toddlers and preschoolers, " DeShazer said. "We've created programs that connect with young children through lovable characters, great music and silly humor."
