Bush documentary wins four media awards |

The International Christian Visual Media Association (ICVMA) awarded three of its highest awards to the documentary George W. Bush: Faith in the White House. The documentary, which was produced by Grizzly Adams Productions, received a total of four awards at the ICVMA annual July awards dinner in Denver, including Crown Gold Awards for Best Picture of the Year, Best Screenplay, Best Documentary over $50,000 and a Crown Silver Award for Best Curriculum related to a film. The Bush documentary has aired on the PAX-TV Network, Angel Network and Christian TV networks. The film and all the related promotional items also have become a part of the permanent President Bush collection at the Smithsonian Institution. The documentary was selected by television and film critics along with nine other finalists to be considered for the Crown Awards. The best-selling books used in the TV special include: George W. Bush on God and Country, edited by Thomas M. Freiling (Allegiance Press) and A Man of Faith: The Spiritual Journey of George W. Bush by David Aikman (W Publishing Group), former senior correspondent for TIME magazine. Viewers also will see extensive interview segments with Stephen Mansfield, author of The Faith of George W. Bush (Charisma House). The DVD version of the Bush documentary is distributed in the mainstream channel by GoodTimes Entertainment and in the religious trade by FaithWorks.
