Grizzly Adams Productions' George W. Bush: Faith in the White House, a 70-minute documentary, along with a Bush baseball cap and postcard used to promote the program, are now part of the permanent collection of the Division of Politics and Reform at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. “It's an honor for Grizzly Adams Productions to have these items selected and displayed at the Smithsonian,” said Ted Beckett, executive producer of the documentary. The Bush documentary, of which approximately 250,000 DVDs have been sold, first aired on the PAX network (now the “i” Network), LINK-TV, DISH-TV Pay-Per-View and 10 Christian networks including Trinity Broadcasting Network. The documentary won four awards at the 2004 convention of the International Christian Visual Media Association, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Documentary over $50,000 and Best Curriculum related to a film. Produced independent of any contact with the White House or Bush administration, the documentary is partially based on two best-selling books examining President Bush's personal faith: David Aikman's A Man of Faith: The Spiritual Journey of George W. Bush (W Publishing Group, 2004), and Thomas Freiling's George W. Bush on God and Country(Allegiance Press, 2004).
