Lucado's 'Buzby' video No. 1 for 2005 Print Email

According to the Nielsen Soundscan report for 2005 year-end Christian video sales figures, Max Lucado's "Hermie & Friends" video series' fourth installment, Buzby, the Misbehaving Bee, was the No. 1 video of the year for both children and adults, selling more than 250,000 units.

The report also revealed all five videos in the Tommy Nelson children's video series ranked in SoundScan's top 25 and garnered for the brand 16.2% of the total market share.

"Max (Lucado) and the entire 'Hermie & Friends' team are thrilled with the success of Buzby and are very appreciative of retail's continued excitement and support of this great new brand," said Tommy Nelson Senior Vice President and Publisher Dan Lynch. "We're even more excited for the future to see what else God has in store."

Tommy Nelson plans to further expand the growth of the brand with the release of a sixth video, Stanley the Stinkbug Goes to Camp, in February.
