Tommy Nelson acquires Bibleman brand |

Tommy Nelson recently announced its purchase of the Bibleman brand and related products from Pamplin Entertainment. The purchase gives Tommy Nelson exclusive rights to the Bibleman brand, including future titles, licensing rights and the Bibleman live road show. Crossroads Entertainment & Marketing and CNI Distribution will continue to handle sales and distribution, respectively, of the Bibleman brand until April. Tommy Nelson then plans to ship catalog titles through Thomas Nelson and relaunch the brand later in the year. Marketing plans include new DVD and book titles, the live road show and collaborations with licensee partners Covenant Studios and Talicor Inc. “Pamplin Entertainment has had a wonderful relationship with Tommy Nelson over the years,” said Andrea Marek, president of Pamplin Entertainment. “We know that their experience and resources will allow them to do a great job growing the 'Bibleman' series and its ministry to an even greater level, reaching even more children with the message of Christ.” |
