The producers of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie will release the second "Thou Shalt Laugh" comedy DVD to Christian retail. The 90-minute Thou Shalt Laugh: The Deuce DVD is set to release Oct. 23.

Emmy Award-winning writer and actor Tim Conway (The Carol Burnett Show) hosts the DVD of stand-up comedy by Christian comedians. Conway is also known as the voice of Hermie in "Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends" videos (Thomas Nelson).

Returning performers Taylor Mason (TV's Taylor's Attic) and Thor Ramsey (host of TV's family-friendly comedy program Bananas) are joined by Thou Shalt Laugh newcomers Victoria Jackson (Saturday Night Live), Vernard "Bone" Hampton and Daniel Nainan.

"After seeing the first Thou Shalt Laugh, I felt honored when the producers approached me to host The Deuce," Conway said in a statement. "Throughout my career, I have always kept my act clean, so it pleases me (to) no end to see this next generation leaning in that direction as well."

The first installment, Thou Shalt Laugh, "outsold any other Christian comedy DVD ever made," according to a company statement.

The DVD is being distributed to the Christian market by Provident-Integrity Distribution.
