Miss PattyCake is back Oct. 30 in Christian bookstores with Miss PattyCake's Christmas. Indelible Creative Group will release the first Christmas DVD from Miss PattyCake, which will be distributed in the Christian channel by Word Distribution. The popular children's character explores the true message of the season, using FamilyLife's children's resource, "What God Wants for Christmas" nativity box, including pop-ups, pictures and poems, to illustrate Jesus' birthday. The DVD, geared for preschoolers, includes songs such as "It's Christmas," "Away in a Manger," "A Baby Is Born" and "Hap-Hap-Happy Birthday, Jesus." Jean Thomason has been performing as Miss PattyCake since 1994, when she created the character for Integrity Music. Miss PattyCake & the Hullabaloo Zoo, Miss PattyCake Discovers Bubbling Joy and Miss PattyCake's Eggstravaganza have been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, said Indelible, which acquired Miss PattyCake's catalog and future products earlier this year. |
