ZONDERKIDZ LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCT LINE FOR TWEEN GIRLS Print Email

Children's publisher Zonderkidz announced at its CBA breakfast Monday a new line of fiction and nonfiction books for girls ages 8-12 called Faithgirlz!

"We have created an extensive marketing plan to help our Christian retailers reach consumers because we feel this line could ignite tween girls and their parents to visit their favorite Christian stores looking for books that speak to the real issues they face day to day," said Kathy Needham, senior director of Zonderkidz marketing.

Two fiction titles, Sophie's World and Sophie's Secret, by Nancy Rue, best-selling author of the "Lily" series, will be released in September. A nonfiction devotional, No Boys Allowed, also will be released this fall, as will a compilation CD and various Inspirio products such as a ceramic picture frame and a Faithgirlz! journal.

Faithgirlz! is "about inner beauty and outward faith," the publisher said in a statement.
