Publishers can enter products in a new category dedicated to books appealing to Catholic and liturgical Christians in the eighth annual Christian Retailing Retailers Choice Awards.

The Catholic/Liturgical books category joins two other new groupings-Vacation Bible School and Church Supplies-this year, which are expected to draw a wide range of supplier nominations. Supplier nominations will be received until Friday, Feb. 29 (postmarked).

After entries have been submitted, they will be voted on by Christian retail storeowners, managers and staff who will judge the products on their spiritual impact. Prizes will be given for the best new products released last year in 31 wide-ranging categories of books, music, videos and gifts.
