Carpentree drew large crowds to its trend and merchandising demonstrations held twice daily at the International Christian Retail Show-at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. During the demonstrations, dueling interior designers used the same home-décor products to create two different looks-one for contemporary buyers and the other for traditional ones.

In addition to product drawings, retailers in attendance took home a trend swatch book-with tips from designers Pam Stanton, representing contemporary shoppers, and company co-owner Ginny Hobson, representing traditional shoppers-on popular colors and art formats.
