Kerusso's success with Kidz Light House
Christian-themed apparel company Kerusso has reported that its Kidz Light House Apparel Center is a success. More than 200 retailers have placed the display unit in their stores within 30 days of its June launch.

"The Kidz Light House launch June 1 has been received with tremendous excitement from our retail partners," said Vic Kennett, CEO and president of Kerusso.

The Kidz Light House holds 100 children's T-shirts, sizes from 3T to Youth Large. The display shows 10 designs faced out in adjoining cubby-holes that hold the folded shirts. Kerusso is offering special discounts and terms that allow retailers to competitively price the kids' shirts at $12.99.

With "business casual" more common these days, is the neck tie market still strong? "It seems that the casual dress trends in business today have had a greater impact on pure fashion neckwear. QUESTION OF THE WEEK: After a Gift Show Print Email

Coming home from a gift show, retailers not only have a lot to catch up on, but also have to "download" what they learned at the show, processing the information in order to make it useful in store. How can Christian retailers better empower their staff to handle the store while they're away at the show, and how can they more easily make use of what they learned while away?

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK Print Email

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne."
(Heb. 12: 1-2, NLT)
