Warner Press announced another step in strengthening its partnership with Wesleyan Publishing House. Under the new agreement, Warner will provide sales and representation for all Wesleyan products and services in the trade retail channel. Eric King, president of Warner Press, and Wayne MacBeth, publisher at Wesleyan Publishing House, commented on the partnership. “We are excited to take another step in strengthening our partnership,” King and MacBeth said. “Warner Press and Wesleyan Publishing House both bring a vast array of knowledge and experience to the table, and we are looking forward to other partnership opportunities into the future.” Warner also recently hired a former Wesleyan Publishing employee. Warner announced Friday that Jeff Ray has joined the organization as senior director of marketing. Ray comes with more than 20 years of marketing and sales experience. He spent the last three years at Wesleyan Publishing House, where he led the sales and marketing teams. Ray has joined Warner Press to develop the organization's web, social media, research and analysis, and branding efforts, among other initiatives. King sees Ray as “a great fit for our organization,” citing Ray's significant knowledge and experience. He said he expects Ray to be "an integral part of our team" and anticipates "having him lead our marketing efforts into the future.” |
