Zondervan has signed a multi-book deal with New York Times best-selling author Melanie Shankle. Shankle’s deal with Zondervan is for two trade books, a DVD curriculum and a gift devotional. 

Shankle is the author of Sparkly Green Earrings, The Antelope in the Living Room and Nobody's Cuter Than You (all Tyndale House Publishers). She speaks at events nationwide and is known for her Big Mama blog. 

McCready said she was excited to work with Shankle.

“We are all big fans of Melanie Shankle here at Zondervan, and we could not be more excited to have the opportunity to partner with her on her next books,” McCready said. “She is a wonderful writer, full of humor, heart and grace, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to continue to expand her audience.” 

In the first trade book, set to release in August 2017, Shankle explains how to find significance and meaning in the routines of life.
