Nominees for the seventh annual Christy Awards have been announced. The awards, which honor Christian fiction, go to winners in seven categories: Contemporary (Stand-alone), Contemporary (Series, Sequels and Novellas), Historical, Romance, Suspense, Visionary and First Novel.

At the awards ceremony in July, Bret Lott, author of 11 books-including Jewel, an Oprah Book Club selection in 1999-will give the keynote address.
