The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the hiring of industry veteran Steve Brallier as executive director of the GMA Foundation to direct the capital campaign and oversee operation of the future GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Brallier, who has more than 20 years of experience in the music industry in Nashville, will oversee all aspects of the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame project, including fundraising, building design, construction and marketing. After the building's construction, Brallier will also run the facility, which will include a museum, retail store and archives. “The GMA Foundation is fortunate that Steve Brallier has agreed to take on the challenge of leading our campaign to establish a physical presence for the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville,” said John W. Styll, president of the GMA. “He comes to this position with the perfect blend of music industry experience, sales and development skills and Music City relationships, which will be so beneficial to this vital part of the GMA's future.” Brallier established the first Christian and gospel music talent department for William Morris Agency in Nashville during the 1980s, when he signed more than 40 artists, including Take 6, Sandi Patty, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Point of Grace and Anointed. The GMA Foundation is a nonprofit, educational association working in connection with the GMA. |
