Logos stores gather before ICRS Print Email

Association of Logos Bookstores (ALB) members will be gather in Atlanta, July 5-8, for their annual conference, prior to the International Christian Retail Show.

The three-and-a-half-day event will feature seminars, publisher-sponsored events, and daily prayer and worship, as well as signings by authors Ravi Zacharias, Terri Blackstock, Calvin Miller, Dandi Daley Mackall, Sharon Hinck, Eddie Ensley, Tony Jones, Doug Pagitt, Creston Mapes and Cindy Woodsmall.

On July 9, the ALB will announce the 2007 award-winners for Vendor of the Year, Author of the Year and book awards in seven categories. Nominated and voted on by the managers of member bookstores nationwide, Canada and the Bahamas, the book awards "recognize and encourage excellence in writing, publishing, and distribution," ALB said.

Based in Kent, Ohio, the Association of Logos Bookstores is a 33-year-old nonprofit trade association that serves 24 independent Christian bookstores.
