Almighty Heroes Media Group (AHMG) has announced a worldwide distribution agreement with Anchor Distributors. The Minnesota-based company will introduce 50 new products of its "Almighty Heroes" lineup-Bible-based action figures depicting characters from the Old Testament-at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS), July 8-12, in Atlanta. The creator of G.I. Joe, the posable soldier action figure that revolutionized boys' toys in the 1960s, Don Levine launched "Almighty Heroes" in the Christian retail channel at last summer's ICRS. The family enterprise only had a 10-by-10-foot booth, with a handful of selections and 10 retail customers, company officials said. In contrast, the "Almighty Heroes" booth for ICRS this summer is 20-by-40 feet. The new products include more action figures, playsets, puzzles, electronic swords, role-playing costumes, night lights and a 27-by-14 foot outdoor Noah's ark inflatable bounce. "Almighty Heroes" can now be purchased in more than 500 retail outlets, according to AHMG President and CEO Neil Levine. "We believe we have created the bridge between fun and biblical education in Christian toys," Neil Levine said. "Anchor gives us the best strategic alliance between a manufacturer and distributor to service the Christian market." |
