Canadian companies Crown Video of Edmonton and Precision Media Group of Vancouver have announced the formation of Crown Entertainment, a U.S. company operating from Franklin, Tenn. Crown Video has been distributing Christian video throughout Canada for 25 years, and about 10 years ago started distributing certain licensed video product to the U.S. and international markets. "It has been an ongoing challenge to distribute our products to our U.S. clients from Canada," said Tim Willson, marketing director for Crown Video and Crown Entertainment. "We will find it easier to serve our customers by eliminating border issues, improving shipping times, and by simplifying returns and payments. Franklin-based Crown Entertainment will answer a number of challenges." Best known in U.S. markets for its Crown Comedy brand, the company represents Christian comics, including Ken Davis, Anita Renfroe, Tim Hawkins, Cory Edwards, Robert G. Lee and Kenn Kington. "This is the next logical step in the evolution of our company," said Brad Mix, vice president of Crown Video and Crown Entertainment, who announced another new development. "We have just concluded an agreement to partner more closely with Ken Davis Productions, a relationship that will deliver even more great comedy with solid content from some of the best Christian entertainers on the planet," Mix said. |
