Barbour Publishing is rolling out an enhanced version of its Bargain Display Center program. Barbour is offering the program on a quarterly basis, now with "simpler," 90-day terms and a new fixture that increases retailers' display options.

"We've found this program to be extremely successful over the years, and now it's even better," said Bill Westfall, vice president of sales for the Ohio-based company. "Retailers can offer books with proven ministry value to customers at value prices and help increase their bottom line at the same time."

Stores participating in the program receive 32 of Barbour's best-selling backlist titles with the value price-most under $5. With the new rack, retailers have the option of displaying books upright as well as stacked.

Barbour began shipping the new displays to stores this summer. Retailers may buy the books at a 50% or 55% discount, depending on quantity, with free freight. The new rolling fixture is shipped with the first order. Other benefits of the program include 90-day billing and no restock fees.
