Jason Ingram again named Songwriter of the Year |

For the second year in a row, Jason Ingram was named Christian Songwriter of the Year for 2007 during SESAC's annual Christian Music Awards, according to the performing rights organization. During the SESAC ceremonies, held Tuesday in Nashville, Ingram was recognized for writing "Let Go," which was recorded by the group Grey Holiday. Ingram also wrote "When Our Hearts Sing," which was recorded by Rush of Fools. Last year, Ingram was recognized for writing "Shine," which was recorded by Salvador, and "I Will Lift My Eyes," recorded by Bebo Norman. Other 2007 SESAC award-winners included Tiffany Arbuckle Lee (aka Plumb), Adam Agee and Jordan Messer of Stellar Kart, Christopher Clonts of Decyfer Down, Jeremy Kunkle of This Beautiful Republic, and Windsor Way, Grange Hill Music and peertunes, Ltd. was named Christian Publisher of the Year.
