‘Total Money Makeover’ makes ECPA's book chart

The economic downturn can be seen in the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association's (ECPA) latest best-sellers list, as financial expert Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover (Thomas Nelson) enters the Top 50 book chart at No. 6 this month.

The rest of the top 10 are: 1. The Love Dare by Stephen and Alex Kendrick (B&H Books/B&H Publishing Group); 2. The Shack by William P. Young (Windblown Media/Hachette Book Group USA); 3. What in the World Is Going On? By David Jeremiah (Thomas Nelson); 4. Love & Respect by Emerson Eggerichs (Thomas Nelson); 5. My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers/James Reimann (Barbour Publishing); 7. Fireproof Your Marriage Participant's Guide by Jennifer Dion (Outreach); 8. This Side of Heaven by Karen Kingsbury (Zondervan); 9. 90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper with Cecil Murphey (Revell/Baker Publishing Group); and 10. The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman (Northfield Publishing/Moody Publishers).

The top 10 Bibles for February are: 1. Outreach New Testament-ESV (Crossway Books & Bibles); 2. Text Bible-NKJV (Thomas Nelson); 3. Operation Worship Bible NLT (Tyndale House Publishers); 4. Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Daily Bible-NKJV (Thomas Nelson), 5. ESV (English Standard Version) Study Bible (Crossway Books & Bibles); 6. Adventure Bible (hardcover, Zonderkidz/Zondervan); 7. The One Year Bible NLT (paperback, Tyndale House); 8. The Daily Bible (Harvest House Publishers); 9. Princess Bible-NKJV (Thomas Nelson); and 10. The Chronological Study Bible-NKJV (Thomas Nelson).

The ECPA lists are drawn from Christian retail stores across the country through the association's PubTrack Christian data system. Book lists are based on trade discounted titles selling in at least 20% of reporting stores. Tracts and booklets are excluded.
