The second annual Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Awards were recently announced.

Sponsored by Christian Small Publishers Association (CSPA), the awards-which recognize books produced by small publishers for outstanding contributions in Christian life-featured four categories: Fiction; Nonfiction: General; Nonfiction: Biography; and Children's.

Voted on by Christian retailers, the winners were: A Call to Die: A 40 Day Journey of Fasting From the World and Feasting on God by David Nasser (Redemptive Art Publishing) in the Nonfiction: General category; Adam's Belle: A Memoir of Love Without Bounds by Isabel Washington Powell with Joyce Burnett (DBM Press) in the Nonfiction: Biography category; One Holy Night by J.M. Hochstetler (Sheaf House Publishers) in the Fiction category; and Milo With a Green Wagon by Lisa M. Umina (Halo Publishing International) in the Children's category.

Established in 2004 to represent and promote small Christian publishers, CSPA has grown from three to more than 50 member publishers, the association said.
