Money concerns seen in ECPA chart

Concern about financial matters made the biggest impact on the latest best-sellers chart from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA), with Dave Ramsey's The Money Answer Book rising to ninth spot in the June Top 50 Books list, released today.

The rest of the top 10 are: 1. The Love Dare by Stephen & Alex Kendrick (B&H Publishing Group), 2. The Shack by William P. Young (Windblown Media), 3. What in the World Is Going On? By David Jeremiah (Thomas Nelson), 4. The Secret by Beverly Lewis (Bethany House/Baker Publishing Group), 5. Fireproof Your Marriage-Participant's Guide by Jennifer Dion (Outreach, Inc.), 6. Crazy Love by Francis Chan (David C. Cook), 7. Take One by Karen Kingsbury (Zondervan), 8. Cast of Characters by Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson), 10. Inside the Revolution by Joel C. Rosenberg (Tyndale House Publishers).

The top 10 Bibles for the month are: 1. Outreach New Testament, ESV (Crossway Books & Bibles), 2. Text Bible, NKJV (Thomas Nelson), 3. Thinline Bible, NIV burgundy bonded leather (Zondervan), 4. Thinline Bible, NIV black bonded leather (Zondervan), 5. Thinline Bible, NIV navy bonded leather (Zondervan), 6. True Images, NIV Italian Duo-Tone chocolate/bubble gum (Zondervan), 7. Woman's Study Bible, NKJV (Thomas Nelson), 8. The Chronological Study Bible, NKJV hardcover (Thomas Nelson), 9. Adventure Bible, NIV hardcover (Zondervan), 10. Life Application Study Bible, NIV personal size Italian Duo-Tone orchid/chocolate (Zondervan).

The ECPA lists are drawn from Christian retail stores across the country, through its PubTrack Christian data system. Book lists are based on trade discounted titles selling in at least 20% of reporting stores. Tracts and booklets are excluded.
