Zondervan's Inspired By … The Bible Experience was named three times in the Audio Publishers Association Jan. 31 announcement of The Audies' finalists.

Inspired By … The Bible Experience, a finalist in the Package Design category, also goes head to head with Focus on the Family “Radio Theatre's” Father Gilbert Mysteries: The Silver Cord and other competitors in the Achievement in Production category. Focus has another full-cast narration entry in the Audio Drama category with The Life of Jesus.

Oasis Audio's Leave a Candle Burning by Lori Wick, read by Barbara Rosenblat, was selected in the Solo Narration-Female Category.

Two multi-voice Bible products were named finalists in the Inspirational/Spiritual category, Inspired By … The Bible Experience (Zondervan) and The Message Remix Complete by Eugene H. Peterson (Oasis Audio). Other finalists in the category were Mama Made the Difference by T.D. Jakes, narrated by Richard Allen (Penguin Group) and The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, narrated by Ralph Cosham (Blackstone Audio) and We Speak Your Names by Pearl Clease and Zaron Burnett Jr., narrated by Pearl Clease (Blackstone Audio).

In Inspirational/Faith-Based Fiction, the finalists were: The Angels of Morgan Hill by Donna VanLiere, narrated by the author (Audio Renaissance); Divine by Karen Kingsbury, narrated by Sharon Williams (Brilliance Audio); Grace at Low Tide by Beth Webb Hart, narrated by Kate Forbes (Recorded Books); Knitting by Anne Bartlett, narrated by Beverley Dunn (Bolinda Publishing) and The Preacher's Daughter by Beverly Lewis, narrated by Stina Neilsen (Recorded Books).

Awarding excellence in audiobook publishing, The Audies gala celebration will be held at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center on June 1 in New York City.

Publishers submitted more than 800 entries this year in 31 categories, including Humor, Multi-Voiced Performance, Romance, Science Fiction and Spanish Language.

Finalists for Audiobook of the Year, which recognizes the audiobook with the greatest impact on the audio publishing industry, will be announced next month.
