CBA and the Premier Foundation have announced an agreement to help raise funds for various global and domestic ministries.

The organizations will host the inaugural The Champions of the Faith Awards & Benefit Concert, to be held Sunday, July 10, during the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The event will also honor "those who truly exemplify Christian love and the principles of discipleship taught by Jesus Christ," organizers said.

The event will feature a Christian music concert, a special visual performance by Jared Emerson and live and silent auctions of special items, including guitars autographed by Christian musicians.

Curtis Riskey, CBA executive director, said that the association was pleased to part of Premier's ministry, which is aligned with the mission and practice of Christian retail stores. "This partnership is exciting because it not only supports ministry causes that Christian retailers believe in, but also helps ICRS demonstrate the industry's ministry purpose and outreach," he said.

The Premier Foundation—which has granted more than $3 million to nonprofit ministries and various charities during the past 12 years—supports The James Fund, World Vision, Compassion International, Gospel Music Association Foundation, Motor Racing Outreach, The Center for Church Transformation and Skip1.

Event tickets—which are $50 apiece—are available through iTickets. Click here for more information on The Champions of the Faith Awards & Benefit Concert.
