The 2010 Retailers Choice Awards winners will be announced at Christian Retailing's The Gathering 2010 event, to be held April 21-23 at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky.

Running through March 30, the show is hosted by Christian Retailing magazine, highlighting some of the key new and backlist products from leading suppliers.

Produced by Associated Producers, which has released some videos in Christian bookstores, Beasts of the Bible will premiere on Animal Planet on Thursday, April 1, at 8 p.m. EST.

The aim is to ensure that "Christian consumers understand the type of content they are purchasing, particularly if titles contain portrayals not usually expected in Christian media," CBA officials said. Films such as The Passion of The Christ and To Save a Life are projects that have content objectionable to some, but have redeeming evangelistic messages, CBA said.
