AAPButtonLogo-webFaith-based publishers reported significant year-over-year e-book growth for November, though net paperback sales fell by 21% compared with the previous November, according to the Association of American Publishers (AAP).

Religious presses’ e-book sales skyrocketed—$5.1 million in November 2013 versus $3.6 million in November 2012, a 42.4% increase, helping to boost e-book sales for the first 11 months of 2013 to $60 million, a 9.7% increase over the $54.7 million sold in the same period of 2012.

Cedar Springs is displaying the new brand in the store’s boutique near other clothing lines rather than with Duck Commander products.

”Ms. Mary”—as she is commonly referred to by Swanson associates and store owners, managers and payables employees—had touched virtually every Christian retailer’s account, having started her employment with Swanson in 1972.

DaySpring co-founder Don Leetch dies at 88 Print Email

DonLeetch-webDonald G. Leetch, one of the four co-founders of DaySpring Cards, died Feb. 19. He was 88.

Leetch traveled in evangelistic work for several years, during which time he met Leola, whom became his wife in 1952. Together they founded Norwalk Church of the Nazarene and later Nazarene Christian Day School.
