Chris Tomlin saw a longtime vision come to life last week as more than 35,000 people came together for his Worship Night in America events, selling out New York City's Madison Square Garden, Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Sacramento, California's Sleep Train Arena.

The tour brought people together for a time of worship and prayer for the nation. Special guests Louie Giglio, Max Lucado, Matt Redman, Kari Jobe, Rend Collective, Israel Houghton, Matt Maher, Phil Wickham and Hillsong's Reuben Morgan appeared with Tomlin.

TobyMac’s latest album, This Is Not a Test (Capitol Christian Music Group/Capital Christian Distribution), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart this week. The album also reached No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 and No. 3 on the Digital Albums chart.

The high placement comes after a busy street week for the artist, who garnered coverage from such media outlets as ESPN Online, HLN’s Weekend Express, ABC Radio and FOX News. Strong sales for the album were also bolstered by positive reviews from the media.

Dickinson Press, a full-service book manufacturer and printing services provider, was sold Tuesday to Blackford Capital’s Michigan Prosperity Fund. With Dickinson's ability to print on thin, lightweight paper for Bible publishers, the company brings a unique customer base to Blackford. 

Bible Society Australia announced Tuesday the acquisition of Koorong, Australia’s leading Christian retail chain. Retail purchases will now help provide access to the Bible around the world through this partnership.

Richard Grellman, chairman of Bible Society Australia, said he believed the Koorong partnership will create a synergy for both organizations that will have greater impact in the marketplace and in the Christian community.

The Munce Group announced last week the development of a print More to Life (MTL) Magazine.

Munce Group launched the MTL brand approximately 10 years ago with a simple goal: to increase the awareness of Christian products and where they can be purchased. To enhance brand recognition and business growth, Munce segregated all MTL assets under the trade name More to Life earlier this year.

Send The Light (STL) is reorganizing in light of the retirement of Dee Goodhew, the distributor’s longtime international sales manager.

“She was the face of GVB (Great Value Books) International,” the international remainders division of the Bristol, Tennessee-based distributor, said Mark Phillips, vice president of sales and marketing.

Publishers have been generally complimentary of last week’s Family Christian Stores (FCS) sale to FCS Acquisition, though some literary agents have expressed concern with the chain’s behavior.
