Chris Tomlin sells out Madison Square Garden Print Email

chris-tomlin-concert-madison-square-gardenChris Tomlin saw a longtime vision come to life last week as more than 35,000 people came together for his Worship Night in America events, selling out New York City's Madison Square Garden, Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Sacramento, California's Sleep Train Arena.

The tour brought people together for a time of worship and prayer for the nation. Special guests Louie Giglio, Max Lucado, Matt Redman, Kari Jobe, Rend Collective, Israel Houghton, Matt Maher, Phil Wickham and Hillsong's Reuben Morgan appeared with Tomlin.

this-is-not-a-testTobyMac’s latest album, This Is Not a Test (Capitol Christian Music Group/Capital Christian Distribution), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart this week. The album also reached No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 and No. 3 on the Digital Albums chart.

The high placement comes after a busy street week for the artist, who garnered coverage from such media outlets as ESPN Online, HLN’s Weekend Express, ABC Radio and FOX News. Strong sales for the album were also bolstered by positive reviews from the media.

Richard Grellman, chairman of Bible Society Australia, said he believed the Koorong partnership will create a synergy for both organizations that will have greater impact in the marketplace and in the Christian community.
